All are now sold...but I am still happy to give advice re any weimaraner...is this the dog for you? ALICE GAVE BIRTH TO 8 HEALTHY PUPPIES ON THE 18TH OCTOBER.
We are pleased to confirm that Alice, Sireva Singapore Straits to Katelands gave birth to 8 healthy puppies.
The sire of the litter is Show Champion Morganna Millerson JW.
Both Alice and Morganna Millerson have been hip-scored via the BVA/KC scheme, Alice with a total score of 8, Millerson total score of 10, Alice also has a clear eye certificate.
This is Alice's 3rd and final litter, her 1st litter producing Mina, Katelands Christmas Spirit JW, her 2nd producing Buffy, Katelands Coupe De Ville. Both of these can be seen, and have done extremely well in the show ring as well as being much loved and fantastic pets.
The litter are LEGALLY DOCKED and DEW CLAWS removed, and will come with all relevant paperwork.
Other offspring have done very well in the show ring, Katelands Christmas Ghost qualifying for Crufts every year, and Katelands Class Action not only qualifying at her 1st show, she has also gained her stud book number. Other pups have done very well at agility and are worked on shoots through the season.
The pups will be KC registered, come with 6 generation pedigree, be wormed 3 times, be micro-chipped and vet checked before they leave, KC free insurance, a booklet I have written re training, diet sheet and food.
They also come with a contract of sale, and they are endorsed on their KC papers that any PROGENY cannot be registered and none are for export.
As I am a Kennel Club Accredited breeder you can be assured that the pups are brought up with the utmost care, they are in the house, not outside in kennels and are well socialised.
Any Potential owner will be vetted so please don't be offended. These are not dogs for everyone, they are not for people who work full time, they do not do well in outside kennels and become noisy and or destructive if left alone for hours every day. They require alot of exercise, mental activity and training.

Katelands Gundogs
I had always admired weimaraners from an early age, and we were fortunate to be able to buy our first weimaraner in 1992, from Joan Lawrence of the Radmillane Affix. Radmillane Bon Vivant at Katelands or Emma, was our introduction to showing. Handled at that time by Lindsay she had a quite successful career, being placed at Crufts in 1993 and 1994. Since then we have been fortunate to have owned and bred several of this beautiful breed, and we are still captivated by the 'Grey Ghosts'.
In 1997 we were granted our own Affix of Katelands by the Kennel Club.
In 2003 we were very lucky to have the opportunity of owning a stunning flashy liver and white German Shorthaired Pointer dog bred by the late Fio Roberts of the famous Isara Kennel. I had wanted to branch out into this breed, as I was impressed by their suitability for field and working test work, an area I wanted to become more involved in. Isara Kurzhaar Innkeeper at Katelands (Jack) arrived and proved to be a fantastic introduction to this breed. We have had a lot of success in the Gundog working arena, and he was also made up into a Show Champion in 2008, winning 4 Challenge Certificates and many Reserve Challenge Certificates.

Lindsay has also been successful over the years with his German Shepherd Service dogs and spaniels, competing in Kennel Club Working Trials and Police / Service Dog Trials. He was the 2004 Regional Champion and has competed at the highest level Nationally over the last 10 years..
We do not breed from our dogs very often. I believe in quality over quantity, carefully selecting the dogs I use, and only choose those stud dogs from lines which I know will complement my own dogs. Conformation and temperament is extremely important in relation to these breeds, as they are hunting dogs bred to run and work all day. Without the right conformation to start with, health problems will follow. Their temperament should be so good that they can be out at a shoot working one day, home by the fire in the evening, and mingling with other show dogs or visiting family the next.

Over the years, we are proud that, not only are the dogs we have produced much-loved family pets, they have proven that they are the true versatile dogs that HPR's should be, from winning Challenge Certificates in the show ring, to working on shoots throughout the season and winning top Awards at Field Trials and Gundog Working Tests.Our puppies have also gone on to take part in Agility competitions, and we even have a pup which is used as a front runner in a top-winning Sledge Team.
All our dogs are carefully health screened before being bred from, they are Hip-Scored according to the Kennel Club guidelines and hold current clear eye certificates. Our puppies are raised with the utmost care in the house, well socialised and we offer a life time Breeder Support Service in relation to any of our puppies.
We are long-standing members of the Weimaraner Club of Great Britain and the Weimaraner Association, the German Shorthaired Pointer Club and the German Wirehaired Pointer Club. We have served on several dog club committees.
